Headed by its chairman Dr. Mahmoud al-Irk, a Mother Syria Assembly MSA delegation visited the Chinese embassy in Damascus, during which discussions dealt with the current situation in Syria, which ambassador (Chih Changin) described as radically changing for the better, with victories started as from the battle of Aleppo to al-Ghouta, thanks to the efforts of the Syrian government and army as well as Russian and Iranian cooperation.
For his part, Dr. al-Irk said that despite American and Israeli efforts, supported by certain Arab countries to divide Syria and create the confusion however, ending of the crisis has become inevitable, with great reliance on friends, especially China as a superpower with a large economic dynamics and foreign investment aspirations, that would eventually help in the reconstruction of Syria.
The ambassador noted that China ‘s participation in Syria’s reconstruction is linked to military developments on the ground, noting such participation will create great investment opportunities for the Chinese side.
In order to define the first step in Syria’s reconstruction process, the ambassador underlined the importance of cooperation among the international community for advocating negotiations, peaceful solution and dialogue, apart from military cooperation and confrontation between world powers. A situation that may lead to direct war, especially under the recent US threats and international intervention in Syria.
