Within the framework of enhancing relations with Arab and Foreign embassies accredited in Damascus , Mother Syria Assembly MSA delegation, headed by Dr. chaired by Dr. Mahmoud al-Irk visited on Wednesday 14/3/2018 the Embassy of Algeria in Damascus.
Talks during the meeting with Ambassador Saleh Bousha dealt with boosting cooperation relations between the two countries in support of mutual interests
Dr. al-Irk spoke about MSA objectives and activities at all levels, especially the recent economic conference , held in cooperation with the University of Damascus , during which great interaction between was maintained between participants and the attendees while economic researches focusing on the reality of the Syrian economy and proposals for its development were presented.
“We are in the process of establishing a typical residential suburb project, which is an important factor to contribute to improving the standard of living, “ al-Irk said, noting that the project will be financed by a fast-cycle capital , with the aim of achieving the lowest possible cost with the highest returns.
For his part, the ambassador talked about the construction movement in Algeria and its successful experience in constructing 600,000 housing units, citing Algeria’s efforts to develop and export production in the cement and iron fields, and economic experiences of other countries such as Tunisia and Brazil. He also noted the importance of accelerating trade between the two countries, especially oil and gas with long-term contracts .
The ambassador praised the ability of the Syrians to produce and marvel despite the crisis conditions and pointed out the importance of scientific exchange between the two countries and work to increase Syria’s share of the Algerian granted scholarships for postgraduate studies and that Algeria will provide 50 scholarships for Syrian students .
He reiterated his country’s position in support the Syrian Government and people in all international and regional forums , stressing Syria’s territorial integrity .
